Cleveland Police Used AI to Justify a Search Warrant. It Has Derailed a Murder Case.

A Cleveland judge ruled to suppress evidence put forward by the prosecution in a murder case, finding that the search warrant affidavit was misleading. The affidavit did not disclose that police had asked the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center to run a facial recognition search using Clearview AI.
