
VICTORY! Federal Court (Finally) Rules Backdoor Searches of 702 Data Unconstitutional

In a landmark decision, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York ruled that warrantless searches of databases full of Americans’ private communications collected under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act are unconstitutional.
